Two years ago, I had just moved into a new apartment and I was very excited about Sunday football. The games started at 10 am and, as the day progressed, I realized that I had watched TV for 11 hours! That was the tipping point in my life. The very next day, I canceled my tv cable and have never looked back. I find that going to the gym, yoga class, biking, reading, or just having a conversation has so much more value. Our sedentary lifestyle and sitting are not doing our body any good. It is changing our spine and weakening our overall core. Our body is meant to move, to be active and cared for. It will serve you as we age. One of my fitness teachers shared a great comment: “If you do not take care of where you live, where you will live will be broken”?
